1. The Writing Situations textbook covers much of what we're reviewing in our summer courses right now: rhetorical situation, purpose, audience, among other topics. How do we create a scaffolding to make these subjects easier for our students to learn without our deeper understanding of the subjects becoming a source of over-complication?
2. After reading Chapter 3 of the Teacher's Guide and taking into account the multi-model nature of the ENC 1101 course, how do you think we can incorporate other genres into the journal activities while still satisfying the course requirements? How will this multi-genre approach to journals help prepare students for their projects?
